Fill the Freezer

Description:
A great way to show love and care is through food! We are looking to stock a freezer at the church with items for meals (main dishes & sides). Volunteers will deliver these meals to people in our church who have or are going through major life events. Events might include the birth or adoption of a children, help after surgery or sickness, unexpected life event, a gift of encouragement, or support for a family after a loved one's passing.

Teams gather to make meal plans, shop for ingredients, then prepare them in the church kitchen. The bonus is great conversation & fellowship happen when people cook together!

• Giving: Generously shares time and energy to ensure others are cared for and nourished without expecting anything in return
• Administration: Coordinates meal planning, grocery lists, and preparation steps so the cooking days run efficiently and the freezer stays stocked
• Service: Takes joy in practical, hands-on tasks behind the scenes like prepping, cooking, packaging, and delivering meals to meet real needs
