December 2025

The Christmas season comes with some weird, unexpected words — like hogmadog, an old word for a giant snowball. This season reminds us that God also speaks in unexpected ways, inviting us to see more than a baby in the manger and to encounter Jesus as The Word: eternal, full of grace and truth, and our clearest picture of who God is. What unexpected word might God be speaking to you this Christmas?
