Dave Bartlett is the visionary
leader of Orchard Hill Church. Dave has been
on the staff of Orchard Hill since 1985 and first
joined us as Orchard’s first Student Ministry
Director. His first career was as a business
teacher and football and wrestling coach. Before
coming to Orchard, he established and led Backbone
Area Youth For Christ/Campus Life in the Delaware
County area.
Dave has been married to Linda
since 1970. He and Linda have four grown children,
three of whom are married. Dave is currently
learning to be
a grandpa to his four grandchildren (ages 0-3
years of age). Dave enjoys running, hanging out
with his children and wild play times with his
grandchildren. Dave often consults with other
churches and continues to be involved in Student
Ministry, as a teacher, and coaches youth directors
in the Cedar Valley area. |

Tim grew up
on a farm in west-central Iowa near the town
of Harlan. At age 8 he came to faith in Christ
after hearing the gospel message clearly presented
at his hometown church. While going through high
school and college Tim grew closer to the Lord.
In 1991 he graduated from the University of Iowa
with a business degree. It was at that time that
he felt called by the Lord into full-time ministry.
Tim then took a youth ministry position at Okoboji
Lutheran Bible camp where he served for 3 years.
It was during this time that he married Kristin
Daly who was from Des Moines. In 1994 the two
moved to Cedar Falls when Tim took over the campus-ministry
director position at Orchard Hill Church. Tim
now serves on our teaching team, sits on the
management team, resources the college ministry
and other ministries, and serves as the chaplain
for the UNI football team. He and his wife Kris
have two children Isaac and Adrienne who are
one of the great joys of their lives. The two
also work together to strengthen marriages by
hosting marriage retreats throughout the year
and run a small business on their acreage just
outside of town. They love spending time together
and serving the Lord as He leads them. |

Growing up in
a small town in NW Iowa, Doug was introduced
to the Christian faith through the example of
his family and the traditions of his home church.
While studying biology & chemistry at Northwestern
College in Orange City, Iowa, he had an opportunity
to hear Billy Graham speak. The challenge he
experienced through Graham’s teaching compelled
him to make a career change that followed a path
through seminary training and into ministry within
the local church. Doug has served in churches
in Michigan, Oklahoma and NW Iowa until joining
the Orchard Hill Church team in 1997. One of
the greatest joys of Doug’s life is his
family. His wife, Deb, is a gifted teacher of
special needs children at Riverhills School in
Cedar Falls. They have two young adult children,
Annalysa & Elliot. Doug loves to learn. His
favorite book is always the one he’s about
to read. Good friends have played a huge role
in his life and have helped shape his understanding
of who God is and what He’s about in this
world. He enjoys good music, good food, good
conversation, good weather, and a good road trip. |

Alice grew up in the Waterloo-Cedar
Falls area, before heading off to Chicago for
college and seminary.
She has been married to Chuck for 20 years and
they have 3 children - Hannah (17), Tracy (15)
and Will (11). Alice has an undergraduate and graduate
degree in Counseling Psychology, but her spiritual
gift is teaching. Therefore, she teaches! She teaches
on a regular basis at all 6 of our Sunday services,
but also teaches Adult Community Groups and in
other venues at Orchard. One of her deepest passions
is in the area of Adult Spiritual Growth and she
hopes to devote quite a bit of energy to new and
existing initiatives in that arena. In her "spare
time" Alice loves to run, swim, read and (sometimes)
cook for her very hungry and active family! |

Andy's
dad directed bands for 20 years, and his grandpa
joined the Army band fresh out of high school,
so Andy's interest in music didn't surprise anybody
in his family. He married Heidi during college
and in 2001 graduated UNI with an English degree.
Andy loves hanging out with his two kids Emma and
Corin. When the kids are busy or asleep, he enjoys
music, coffee, and reading. Andy was a volunteer
bass player with Orchard's worship bands during
college and joined the staff when the amazing Tim
Rosenau left for Nashville in 2002.

Quentin has recently
joined the Orchard Hill Ministry as worship/music
staff. Native to Gladbrook, Iowa he has been in
love with music since his grandmother introduced
him to John Phillip Sousa near the age of five.
Christ has developed that musical passion to be
used for His purpose in many churches throughout
Quentin’s life. Quentin is responsible for
the 8:30 blended service in the Sanctuary, as well
as collaborating with Andy Fuchtman and the other
worship leaders in guiding Orchard’s community
of faith in Christ-centered worship. His greatest
desire is to use the gifts God has given him to
draw others more intimately towards Christ.
Quentin and his wife Allison were married in August
of 2005, and are excited about the what God is
doing in their lives individually, as a couple,
and in their involvement at Orchard Hill. In his
spare time Quentin enjoys time with Allison, playing
guitar, and getting his daily supplement of ice
cream. |
