More than 60 people volunteer at Orchard’s high school ministry, BIGhouse. Of course, these volunteers spend their days working at their jobs or at school before coming to BIGhouse on Wednesday nights where they run the projector, serve treats, and spend time with high school students.

One volunteer, Dustin Shultz, works at Bremwood Treatment Services in Waverly where he helps teens suffering from emotional and behavioral disorders. He does his best to treat teens the way he thinks Jesus would, and he hopes this helps him to have a positive impact on their lives.

He relates with students at BIGhouse the same way. When asked about his small group, Dustin said, “It’s awesome. I love being able to just be honest and open with my life and how God has impacted it.”

When Dustin isn’t at at Bremwood or BIGhouse he’s probably on stage with his band, “Dividing the Masses.” And his high school small group is probably singing along in the front row of the crowd.

“Dustin loves his guys in small group,” shared Brad, “and now I’m hearing how he’s impacting the teens he works with at his job.” Brad says this fits right in with the recent sermon series at Orchard, “Whatever You Do.”
