Orchard Hill Church partners with Harvest Vineyard Church in Waterloo. Harvest has purchased a home and it is being restored to serve as a men's transitional house. A local spring break group of High School students, College-age students and adults spent several days, cleaning and painting in the "316 House" in an effort to get it ready to serve men transitioning back into the community. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength...Love your neighbor as yourself. Mark 12:30-31
Spring Break Missions are a week's investment toward hearts changed forever! Something happens during mission trips, the hearts of participants are changed by experiencing Jesus through community, service, and a different culture.
Our God is on a mission to help restore people and His world through Jesus. As followers of Christ, God invites us to live on mission with him...caring for the sick, feeding the hungry, loving those who are often forgotten...all in the name of Jesus. We believe that loving God and loving our neighbor are central in our walk of faith and that reaching out beyond ourselves often helps our hearts grow in love for God and neighbor. Our student ministry team is committed to helping students reach out into our community, our nation, and our world to experience Jesus by serving and learning alongside people in need.
