[Mission Trip Guidelines] *By completing and submitting the parent/guardian and student agreement online you are accepting and agreeing to abide by the following listed guidelines and policies for Student Ministry Mission Trips. The use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco will not be tolerated. The trip staff reserves the right to send violators home at their parents' expense. No one is allowed to leave the mission group and its activities without prior written permission from a parent or guardian, and permission from a trip leader. No girls in boy's rooms, no boys in girl's rooms, unless a staff member is present. Regardless of your age, you may not be pierced or tatooed while on a mission trip. Sessions, small groups, and other assigned activities are mandatory. Be careful with property! You will be billed for any damages caused by your negligence. • I understand that the trip leadership reserves the right to send me home if I am found using alcohol, tobacco, or drugs during the event. • I understand that if I am under the age of 18, I will not smoke nor encourage or aggravate anyone else to smoke. • I understand that I may be given a name tag, lanyard, and/or wrist band and am expected to wear it at all times as a form of identification for the event. • I understand that once I arrive at the trip departure, I am not allowed to leave the mission group unless taking part in an organized trip activity. • I understand that males and females will be housed in separate rooms, and I am not allowed in the rooms of the opposite gender, except for organized youth group time with adult leaders present. • I understand that I am expected to attend all main sessions, small groups, and other assigned activities. • I understand that in order to be treated with respect, that I must respect others and show consideration to their belongings. • I understand that I am responsible for any damages, whether accidental or purposeful, in my assigned room or bus/van seat during the trip. • I understand that I may need to be flexible and willing to work with other students, adult leaders, and the trip leader, and I agree to adhere to all trip regulations as they are made known to me before and during the event. |
