WEE ADVENTURE NURSERY

weeadventruelg8:30 a.m., 9:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 11:01 a.m.
Birth - Two years

Check-in for all children is located in the southeast wing of the church.  Entrance “E” will provide you with the most convenient access to the main check-in counter

Nurseries for infants to two-year-olds are available on Sunday mornings during all of our worship services.

We offer three separate nursery rooms located in the southeast wing of the church (directly inside Entrance "E"), to accommodate the different age groups.

Infants:  We know that leaving your new baby for the first time can be overwhelming.  The volunteers in our infant classrooms have been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies and their training to care for all of the needs of your infant.  We hope that the following information will help you and your baby have a great experience on Sunday morning.

Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your baby through the morning.  Label all items that belong to your baby. We promote your children from this classroom based on development.  So, when they start walking, we will move them up to the Toddler room.

Toddlers & 2’s:  This is a fun and active stage in your children’s lives.  We are excited to have them in  Wee Adventure and look forward to teaching them that God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.  Your toddlers and two-year-olds will also participate in many age- appropriate, creative activities throughout the morning.

We provide toys, activities, and snacks in the classrooms.  We usually serve Goldfish, Pretzels and Animal Crackers.  If your children have any allergies or special dietary needs and cannot eat what we have provided, please inform the teachers and bring appropriate snacks for them.

Be sure to bring extra diapers and a change of clothes. Label all items, including cups, snacks, diapers, pacifiers, etc. If your children are potty training, please be sure to communicate that to the teacher. We ask that they wear pull-ups to the classrooms. Volunteers are never allowed in the bathrooms alone with children. They will assist them with clothing (as needed) outside the door and with hand washing afterward inside the classroom.

Please do not bring extra toys, since it is hard to distinguish what belongs to whom. This can cause the children unnecessary frustration when they are asked to share something that was brought from home. Your children will be promoted to the next classroom based on the school calendar.  Promotion takes place in May/June.

Our nurseries provide a safe and loving place for God's littlest children while parents have the opportunity to worship, serve, or attend an adult community group. All of the nurseries are located in the Wee Adventure wing behind the Check-in Counter south of the Community Center.  Please check in your child/ren and label all personal items.

Infants: Room 180

For babies 4 weeks old to about 14 months.  This nursery is staffed with loving volunteers that have a heart for showing God's love to babies.  Once your child is able to walk around without holding onto things it is time for him/her  to move to the Toddler room.

Toddlers: Room 182

For children around 14 months--they can walk steady without holding onto things--to 2 years old.  This nursery is staffed with loving volunteers that love to play, interact, and help toddlers grow to know God loves them.

Two Years Old: Room 183

For children who turn two by September 15 of the current school year.  In this nursery, children will have free play, sing songs, hear Bible stories, and eat a snack. This room is staffed with loving nursery volunteers that want to teach our two-year-olds about God's love. During the 8:30 a.m. service, the two-year-olds are combined with the Toddlers in room 182.

Mom's Nursing Room: Room 166

This room, located between the Community Center and the Coffee House, is open during worship services and provides a quiet, private place for mothers who may need to nurse their babies.
