We'd love to visit more with you about taking next steps in your faith journey and here at OHC. Visit the team at the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings. We're the people wearing the F2F lanyards. Mom's Morning Out An opportunity for mothers of small children to meet for prayer, Bible study, sharing and mutual support. Mom's Morning Out meets once a week, on Friday mornings, during the school year. The time consists of an hour together, then the participants take turns helping with childcare here at church while the other moms are free for the next hour and 15 minutes to do whatever they would like with their morning out time. Resumes September 23. Quilting The Quilting Team meets each Thursday in Room 111 to make quilts that are given to young people who enter a youth detention facility in the area. The ‘raw materials' we use are all donated cotton scraps and fabric remnants and come from the generosity of Orchard Hill members and friends. The creativity we use in putting the fabrics together into patterns is pure enjoyment. The labor involved in sewing the quilts together gets lost in the fun of doing it in the company of friends. The finished products are always amazing reminders of how God blesses the cooperative efforts of His children. And finally, the quilts themselves become a very tangible way of sharing God's love with those in need.
