We have nurseries that are available on Sunday mornings
during our worship services. Our three different nurseries
are named Sleeper-Creepers, Walker-Talkers, and Terrific Two's;
the nurseries are discussed more below. Our nursery rooms
are located in the new addition of our building which is located
on the far east end of our building. Our nurseries provide
a safe place for infants through 2 year olds while their parents
have the opportunity to worship, serve, or attend an adult
community group. We have a secure check-in system where
the parent and child receive an identification number that
is used to identify the child when the parent comes to pick
him/her up. This number is also used during the service
if a parent is needed for any reason.
Nurseries - available during all services;
all rooms located in the new addition (Wendy Blinn and Primary
Nursery Leaders in each room)
Sleeper Creeper: Room 180 - during each
service
This is a nursery that is available for babies 4 weeks old
to about 14 months. It is staffed with loving volunteers
that have a heart for showing God's love to babies. Once
children are able to walk around without holding onto things
it is time for them to move to the Walker Talker room. The
Sleeper Creeper room is available during the 8:30, 9:45, and
11:10 a.m. services. This nursery is also open during
most special worship services.
Walker Talkers: Room
182- during each service
This is a nursery that is available for children age 14 months,
2 year olds (children that are two by September 15 of the current
year). This nursery is staffed with loving volunteers
that love to play, interact, and help toddlers grow to know
God's love. The Walker Talker room is available
during the 8:30, 9:45, and 11:10 a.m. services. This
nursery is also open during most special worship services.
Terrific Two’'s: Room 183 - only
during the 9:45 service (2 year olds will be combined with Walker
Talkers during the 8:30 and 11:10 services)
This is a nursery that serves as a transition from our Walker Talker room to our Junior Great Adventure program. Kids will have free play, sing songs, hear Bible stories, and eat snack. This room is staffed with loving nursery volunteers that want to teach our two year olds about the love of God. This room is only available during the 9:45 worship hour for children that have turned two by September 15, 2007. During the 8:30 and 11:10 a.m. services the two year olds are combined with the Walker-Talkers in room 182.
