Kick-Off Event on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 6:30-8:00pm, Maucker Union Coffeehouse. A kick-off to the week and introduction to modern-day slavery, featuring, Maria Van Hoorn from Hagar International who will share about the issues and the restoration of victims.   Sponsored by  The River Student Ministry (Prairie Lakes Church).
Freedom Week Capstone Event on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 8:00-9:30pm, Lang Auditorium. This event will creatively highlight the issue of modern-day slavery. R. York Moore, has worked as a modern-day abolitionist for ten years and is the National Campaign Director for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He will speak on the issue of modern-day slavery, explaining the social, spiritual and economic forces behind it and inviting us to respond on a personal and corporate level.  Sponsored by UNI BASIC.
